This piece is titled "I love you" it is a 29 foot long silkscreen on paper. The image is of 60 hand drawn soundwave images. This idea stemmed from the loss of my mom. Shortly after my mom passed away I searched to no avail to find a recording of my mom saying " I love you". I began to realize how easily we can go from hearing these words every day to never hearing them again. A little while later my Grandad became very sick, he wasn't given very long to live. Instantly it reminded me of these words and how important they were to me. I record 60 people that I love saying the words "I love you" and traced them onto silkscreens. This image represents the visual representation of love.
